FWFF Kids Fun!

We had a GREAT time at the Florence Winter Folk Festival near the end of January 2014! The Festival posted a fun video of the kids at one of our concerts joining us in singing "BW Hamby". Check out the video on the Winter Folk Festival Facebook page, and turn up the volume!

Requests for the new songs

We've had a lot of requests for two of our new original songs, "It'd Still Be You" and "October Roses". Both went over well at our Florence Winter Folk Festival adult (not XXX, but non-kids) show. We are going to be working on recorded versions this winter. Stay tuned for release information!

Teddy Bears Picnic 2013 Video

On July 20th, 2013, we celebrated yet another Teddy Bears' Picnic with the Eugene Public Library at Campbell Community Center in Eugene, Oregon. We've posted a video to give you a taste of the concert!

Talking about "Music to Die For" on KLCC

Earlier this summer, on Tuesday, June 25th, Mike and Carleen and John Bredesen from the Eugene Masonic Cemetery group spoke with Michael Canning of KLCC about the "Music to Die For" concert series. During the interview, Mike & Carleen performed two songs, "It'd Still Be You" and "Proper Cup of Coffee". The interview is online at the KLCC website.

Ready For Christmas!

Did you miss it? Just before Christmas 2012 we released the long-awaited Mike & Carleen Christmas album, "Ready for Christmas". We'd been talking about a Christmas album for years. After Christmas 2011, we put most, but not all of the decorations away, leaving some up in our music room. For most of 2012, we worked on our Christmas music, starting in earnest during a beautiful week during summer on the Metolius River. "Ready for Christmas" features twelve tunes, including two originals. See and hear a video preview below!
