Angela Bundy
(Mike McCornack)
At night when the sandman's bouquet starts to bloom,
We turn all the lights out, upstairs in my room.
My kisses are given, my stories are read,
And Mamma and Daddy both tuck me in bed.
The drip of the faucet, sets up a strong beat,
And soon it is followed by dancing bear feet.
The sound of a hula band floats through the air,
For Angela Bundy, my dancing brown bear.
Ooh, la la, Hoo, an unusual sight,
Ooh, la la, Hoo, it happens every night.
She whoops and she hulas, she hasn't a care,
She's Angela Bundy my dancing brown bear.
A tiny blue muumuu she wears as she twirls,
With heartfelt abandon she sways and she swirls.
Her steps are so graceful she's almost in flight,
She dances through dreamland till morning is light.
Ooh, la la, Hoo, an unusual sight,
Ooh, la la, Hoo, it happens every night.
She sambas, she rumbas, she hasn't a care,
She's Angela Bundy my dancing brown bear.
Now daylight is dawning, she's back in her place,
And I start each day with a smile on my face.
And nobody knows that she's been anywhere,
Dear Angela Bundy, my dancing brown bear.
Ooh, la la, Hoo, an unusual sight,
Ooh la la, Hoo, it happens every night.
And Mamma and Daddy are barely aware,
Of Angela Bundy my dancing brown bear.
