Weaver

(Mike McCornack)

In the great green meadow there’s an old oak tree,
And a bright red flower and a bumblebee,
They all need each other just like you and me,
We’re a fabric of the whole.

From the deep blue waters to the mountain high,
From the great gray whale to the butterfly
There’s a thread connecting all the earth and sky,
We’re a fabric of the whole.

Weaver, Weaver,
Hear us please,
Make us true believers
In the fabric of the whole.

It is black and yellow, it is white and tan,
It is girl and woman, it is boy and man
And it blends in keeping with the Weaver’s plan
In a fabric of the whole.
